    Overview {#overview}

    You can request deletion of your Omnix account. Deactivation alone is not the same as deletion. Omnix provides:

    • In-app / authenticated Settings deletion for signed-in users
    • This public page for store listings and users who cannot sign in

    How to request deletion {#how-to-request}

    1. Signed-in users: Open Account Settings (web or mobile) → Account deletion → confirm the request.
    2. Public request (no login): Use the request form on this page (or linked from store listings). We verify identity before acting.
    3. Students with institution-controlled records: Your request may require school/privacy-officer approval before education records are erased or anonymized.

    What we delete vs retain {#retention}

    Typically erased or anonymized on completion:

    • Login identifiers and profile fields used for account access
    • Device/session tokens and mobile push tokens (if any)
    • Parent portal links belonging to a deleted parent account (students are not deleted)

    May be retained under institution policy / law (often pseudonymized):

    • Grades, submissions, certificates, and attendance required for academic integrity
    • Security and FERPA/access audit logs for configured retention windows

    Exact retention rules are versioned in Omnix's retention registry and disclosed during the request flow.

    Role-specific notes {#roles}

    • Parent: Deleting a parent account removes the parent profile and parent–child links for that parent. Linked student accounts are not deleted.
    • Instructor: Profile/login data is deleted; institutional teaching records may be retained per school policy.
    • Student: Profile/login data is deleted after any required institutional approval; education records follow the retention registry.

    Request status {#status}

    After you submit a request you can track status: pending verification, pending approval, in progress, completed, rejected, or cancelled. Failed erasure jobs retry safely and show an honest status.
