Notifications inbox

Overview​

The Notifications inbox lists alerts for your account—due work, a grade released, and other events your school sends.

Who can use it​

Any signed-in user.

Where to find it​

App → notifications bell or Notifications.

Before you start​

You are signed in. Admins choose which events fire under Notification Policies.

How to use it​

Read and clear notifications​

  1. Open the notifications bell or Notifications.
  2. Scan unread items; open one for details.
  3. Mark as read or dismiss when the page offers it.
  4. Follow links into a course, grade, or case from the notification.

Tips​

  • Parents also have a Parent Portal Messages feed for school alerts.
  • If nothing ever arrives, ask admin to check Notification Policies.

If you get stuck​

  • Empty inbox: no events yet, or policies do not include your role.
  • Bell missing: open Notifications from the app menu if your school shows it.
