Overview​

Journey (page title My Teaching Day) is today’s teaching page: mark taught, run a check, and Assign practice.

Who can use it​

Instructors.

Where to find it​

Sidebar → Journey. Also the Formative card on Teaching Tools.

Before you start​

Curriculum, pacing, a class, and a check or exit ticket. Tag questions if you want skill strips.

How to use it​

Teach today​

  1. Open Journey. Finish setup if it is still collapsed.
  2. Align with Weekly Lesson Plans; mark taught.
  3. Run check understanding or an exit ticket (optionally Save to question bank).
  4. Read the skill or standard strips; Assign practice.
  5. If prompted, clear Approvals inbox, then confirm students see practice in My Classes.

Open longer support​

  1. Open Reports → Open case when a learner needs support beyond today.

Tips​

  • “No tagged questions…” — tag items on the assessment.
  • “No active teaching sections available…” — finish My Sections.

If you get stuck​

  • Setup blocked — generate pacing; Set up a class.
  • Assign waiting on approvals — open Approvals inbox.
  • Page says a feature is not enabled — ask admin to check Plan & Features.
