My Classes

Overview​

My Classes lists classes created from curriculum. Each class has a join code, roster, assignments, gradebook, and Placement when you use a placement quiz.

Instructors.

Where to find it​

Sidebar → My Classes.

Before you start​

Finish Set up a class so a class exists.

How to use it​

See who is in the class​

  1. Open My Classes. If you have many classes, use Previous / Next at the bottom or search by name.
  2. Open a class.
  3. Students in this class lists enrolled names. Waitlisted students are listed separately.
  4. Copy the join code so students can Join a class, or use Add or remove students to edit the Student group.

Assignments, gradebook, and Placement​

  1. Open Assignments for class work.
  2. Open the gradebook for class scores.
  3. If you assigned a placement quiz, open Placement to confirm results and save the course map.

Tips​

  • My Classes is curriculum classes you teach. Student groups is roster membership (who is in the group).

If you get stuck​

  • “No classes yet” — run Set up a class.
  • “No screening placements waiting for review.” — students have not finished the placement quiz.
  • “No pathway course mapped…” — map courses before confirm and assign.
  • Students cannot join: inactive class or wrong join code.
