Settings and parent links

Overview​

Settings & parent links holds school settings, parent–student links, and branding when your plan includes it.

Who can use it​

School admins.

Where to find it​

Sidebar → Settings & parent links.

Before you start​

Parent and Student accounts exist before you link them.

How to use it​

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Find parent–student links.
  3. Create a link between the Parent user and Student user.
  4. Ask the parent to refresh Dashboard—they should no longer see “No linked students”.

Update school profile or branding​

  1. Edit school fields and save.
  2. Upload branding only if Plan & Features includes custom branding.

Tips​

  • Empty links: “No parent–student links yet.”

If you get stuck​

  • Parent still blocked — missing Parent role or wrong student linked.
  • WhatsApp alerts fail — finish Notification Policies and phone setup.
